9th & 9th

At the beginning of next week, Nick and I officially sell our first home at 819 E 900 S.

We will miss the charm and convenience of our 9th and 9th neighborhood and our 100+ year old house ....the site of our engagement, Lu's and Stella's first house, my first garden, a kitchen remodel, and a great place to call home....

During the fall of 2009, Nick stumbled upon a lot in East Millcreek of Salt Lake City. And after a few months of negotiations, coupled with

Nick's persistence and creativity, we're taking the construction leap!

With the help of Nick's best friend, Mike, and his family's construction company, we are building our second home. I've started this blog not only to allow friends and family at a distance to follow along with the progress, but also for our own documentation of, what we anticipate to be, a lot of fun!

And I thought planning a wedding was a big deal...
